What Does an Industrial Product Designer Do?

The industrial product designer primarily prepares the design project of a new product. Industrial product designer creates a design process (timeline) for the product which is going to be designed within the scope of the project, and in this way the course of the design begins to take shape. Designer; firstly, makes the technical drawing of the designed new product. The designer then creates multiple mockups. By choosing the most appropriate one for the final design of the product among the mockups,  a model is made. Based on the model made, the designer prepares a product sample that has taken the final shape of the design by deciding on the actual dimensions and materials. Additionally, with developing technology, besides technical drawing, designers also use 2D and 3D drawing programs at the design process and at the end of the process in the development of the product.
